Apologies for the belated update. I am pleased to announce that the leader after round 1 is a tie between Steve Ball with Dean Goodway, although technically Steve edges it on the margin points.

Good result for England I thought, pretty solid – shame Milner could’t take his chance, or hold onto the ball, or pass forward – but he did get successfully fouled which led to England’s goal. Mind you not really sure who could take his place.
Just got back now, looking forward to Poland v Russia, and I had forgotten to do my predictions for the Greece v Czech Republic game – not setting a good example!!!!
Anyway, I will do an update tomorrow, but for the next few days I am in Luxembourg, so not sure how the updating will go.
