This week all teams in all divisions could, in theory, be helping to boost your scores.  However, with the only 4 teams selected in the Premiership playing and drawing amongst themselves, everyone got just 2 points here, and 40 of the 50 entries then lost 3 points thanks to Blackpool’s excellent victory, so that is 40 people on -1 points after the Premiership.  Top score though this week was 16 points from the combo of Blaine and Andrew, and they move up from 3rd place to 1st, moving Bethan down to 3rd.  At the bottom, with Marc only scoring 1 point he now joins Grant and Craig in joint last, as the only people still in negativity on -2 points.

Here is the main pdf sheet showing all the selections and scores.  This sheet shows how people scored by division this week and this one shows the scores by division for the month

In the goals competition 15 people got the 6 goals from Chelsea, but only 1 person had the 6 conceded by West Brom (Katherine) and she didn’t have Chelsea as well, so the leader is Richard McCrae on 10 goals.

Here is the full spreadsheet for your enjoyment, and I have also started a graph showing how each person has faired in their good selections and their bad selections, as it isn’t picking the good teams which wins this competition, you need some low scoring duff picks as well.

I am now off on my holidays, so the next update you will get will be on the 3rd September, giving you the two weekends in one, plus declaring the winner of the September manager of the month £5.  Don’t forget as well that you need to notify me by email of the team you wish to swap out and who you wish to replace them with by noon on the 10th September, and so far there are plenty of candidates to be swapped in my selections.

Bonjour and mange toute

Andrew
