Afternoon – just about going to squeeze this in before the game – computer has been going really slow! But it is always best to do get the scores posted before the games start!
So after, a rather pedestrian end to the group stages, the first thing to announce is our first prize winner(s) for top scores in the groups. Both Gareth Lewis and James Hingston scored 50 points in the group phase, so they split the £20 prize. In terms of the overall, it is all very tight again, with Mike Harris and Gareth Lewis tied at the top on 160 points. Jon Simpson makes a reappearance at the top (in third) after scoring 34 on the day, along with Mark Lewis and James Dillon. Personally, as I have not yet mentioned my progress (due to a very poor show), I had a rather good day and have made it to halfway in 31st place – feeling dizzy already.
